Installation & Alignment
– Replace the ink cartridge indicated by the blinking Ink Level icon
– Turn on printer and load plain white paper
– Open exterior and ink cartridge access doors; wait for carriage to center
– Press down lightly on the cartridge and remove it from its slot
– Remove new cartridge from packaging and peel off plastic tape; avoid touching copper contacts or ink nozzles
– Insert the tri-color cartridge in the left slot and black cartridge in the right slot; snap into place
– Close ink cartridge access door and exterior door
– Follow on-screen prompts; printer prints alignment page automatically
– Place alignment page print side down on scanner glass and press Start Copy Black or Color button to align cartridges
